Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed development would introduce bulky domestic features to the existing garage, which would compromise its simple ancillary form. In addition, the proposal would detract from the prevailing character and appearance of ancillary buildings in the surrounding area. As such the development would fail to adhere to the requirements of the National Planning Policy Framework (2018), Policy CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy (2012), saved Policies D1 and G2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan (2006) and Policy D1 of the Woodcote Neighbourhood Plan (2014).
