Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 1st March 2019
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed development, due to the scale, siting and prominence of the solar panels on the south facing roof of the main part of the building would harm the architectural significance and historic value of the listed building and would detract from the character and appearance of the Henley Main conservation area. As such the proposed development is contrary to the provisions of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), Policies CSEN3, CSQ1 and CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy (SOCS), saved Policies D1, G2, CON3 and CON7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan (SOLP) and policy DSQ1 of the Joint Henley and Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan (JHHNP, 2016).
