Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 14th September 2018
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the proposed development would result in detriment to the safety and convenience of users of the public highway due to the depth of the pavement and the potential for the creation of a queue if the ATM were in use would cause obstruction to passing pedestrians including the elderly, people with mobility difficulties and pedestrians with prams and likely forcing them on the carriageway to pass. In addition due to the distance to public car parking spaces and the position of the junction the development is likely to encourage indiscriminate illegal car parking. This would be contrary to policy T1 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
