Installation of a pair of coach lights, one to either side of main entrance which opens onto the High Street Installation of a projecting advertising board to front of building
Installation of 2 x fascia signs to either side of main entrance, replacing one notice board and one fascia sign
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
a) This consent expires 5 years from the date hereof.
b) Any advertisements displayed and any site used for the display of advertisements shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority.
c) Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition.
d) Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the removal shall be carried out to the reasonable satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority.
e) No advertisement is to be displayed without the permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission.
f) No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to obscure or hinder the ready interpretation of any road traffic sign, railway signal, or aid to navigation by water or air, or so as otherwise to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway, waterway or aerodrome (civil or military).
Reason: To comply with the requirements of Regulation 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 2007.
That the development hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, PE02, OPI01, 2795.0516, LOC001, PE01 and PE03, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this permission.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with Development Plan policies.
Notwithstanding the details as shown on drawing PE02, the two fascia signs and hanging sign shall be constructed out of timber with a painted finish.
Reason: In the interests of the visual appearance of the signage in accordance with Policies CSEN3 and CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2027 and Policies AD1, CON7, CON8, G2 and D1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
