Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed development does not provide adequate parking in accordance with Oxfordshire County Council parking standards. There is insufficient space on site to allow for vehicles to manoeuvre into the proposed spaces. Either this would result in cars parking indiscriminately in the vicinity, which can only increase the risk to Highway Safety, or vehicles would have to reverse into the highway, increasing the risk to Highway Safety and users of the Highway. The proposals are therefore not in accordance with South Oxfordshire Local Plan Policies T1, T2 and H11 and paragraph 32 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
