The proposal would result in the provision of insufficient vehicle and disabled motorist vehicle parking, contrary to Saved Policy T2 and Appendix 5 (Parking Standards) of the South Oxfordshire Adopted Local Plan 2011, National Planning Framework and Planning Practice Guidance.

The proposal would result in reduced parking provision that, in the absence of appropriate justification, would threaten the viability of the public house and thereby have a detrimental effect the capability of the Wallingford Town Centre to attract visitors, contrary to Policy CSWAL1 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2012; Saved Policy G2 of the South Oxfordshire Adopted Local Plan 2011; the National Planning Policy Framework and Planning Practice Guidance.
