Decision
Refusal of Consent to Display an Advertisement on 17th August 2017
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The siting of commercial advertisement A boards in the proposed locations would have a harmful impact on the amenity of this predominantly residential area. The proposed advertisements would therefore be in conflict with Policy CSQ3 of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2027 Development Plan and Policy G2 of the Saved Policies of the Adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 as well as the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).

The proposal fails to satisfy one of the five conditions as set out in Schedule 2 of Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements)(England) Regulations 2007 in that consent has not been granted by the Oxfordshire Council as Highway Authority for the siting of the A boards.
