That, having regard to its prominent location forward of the established building line along this part of Wallingford Road, the proposal would appear incongruous and out of keeping with the established, semi-rural character of the area and would detract from the character of the area contrary to saved Policies G2, C4, D1 and H13 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, to Policy CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2027 and to advice set out in Section 6 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2016.
