Refusal of Planning Permission on 20th December 2016
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed development, through its siting and visual appearance would represent an unduly prominent and cramped form of development at the edge of the village and would be against the established grain of development in the locality within the Chilterns AONB. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policies CSEN1 and CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy and Policies G2, C4, D1 and H4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and advice contained within Section 7 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2016.
