Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The works hereby permitted shall be begun not later than three years from the date of this consent. Reason: To comply with the provisions of section 18(1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

That the works hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, 16 04 EI R 100, 16 04 EI R 101 and 16 04 EI R 102, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this consent. Reason: To secure the proper planning of the historic environment in accordance with Development Plan policies.

Prior to the removal of paint from the timber beams, a small and discreet trial area of paint shall be removed using Dry Iceblasting for inspection by the Local Planning Authority. The method of paint removal shall be agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority and thereafter the works on the remaining timbers shall be carried out in accordance with the agreed details. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building and in accordance with Policy CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and Policy CSEN3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2012.
