Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The development to which this permission relates must be begun not later than the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this permission.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That the development hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, 11.024 SK05, 11.024 SK03, 11.024 SK04 rev a, 11.024 SK02 rev e and 11.024 SK01 rev d, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this permission.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with Development Plan policies.
That the materials to be used for the external walls and roofs of the development hereby approved shall be of the same colour, type and texture as those used on the existing building(s).
Reason: In the interests of the visual appearance of the development in accordance with Policy CS1 and CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2027 and Policies D1, G2 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
The dormer window in the North East elevation of the outbuilding hereby permitted shall be glazed in obscure glass, and shall be hinged on the side of the west boundary of the site and with restricted openings, prior to the first occupation of the accommodation and it shall be retained as such thereafter.
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly in accordance with Policies D4, G2 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
The development hereby permitted shall not be occupied at any time other than for purposes ancillary and incidental to the residential use of the dwelling known as Oakley Cottage, Crowell.
Reason: As the separate occupation of the accommodation would represent an undesirable sub-division of the property and result in inadequate standards of amenity and privacy in accordance with Policy H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
