That, having regard to the siting, height, and length of the proposed boundary fence the development would be a visually prominent and intrusive feature within the street scene and would detract from the visual amenity of the site and surrounding area. As such the proposal is contrary to the guidance contained within sections 3.6.9 and 3.6.10 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide and policies D1 and G2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan, and policy CSQ3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy.
