Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development hereby approved shall be carried out and operated in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, SK.12-560-51C, SK.12-560-52B and SK.12-560-02, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this permission. Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with Development Plan policies and to protect the character of the countryside and the AONB from further business expansion in accordance with saved policies G2, G4, E5 and A3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan; policy CSEN1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy; and government guidance contained in the National Planning Policy Framework aimed at protecting valued landscapes and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The storage of sand, aggregate, cement and water relating to the concrete mixing business shall be contained at all times wholly within the building and the loading of concrete lorries shall also take place at all time wholly within the building. Reason: In order to protect the character of the countryside and the AONB in accordance with saved policies G2, G4, E5 and A3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan; policy CSEN1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy; and government guidance contained in the National Planning Policy Framework aimed at protecting valued landscapes and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

That the use of the site shall be limited to the operation of no more than 4 concrete lorries other than with the prior planning permission of the local planning authority. Reason: In order to protect the character of the countryside and the AONB from further business expansion in accordance with saved policies G2, G4, E5 and A3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan; policy CSEN1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy; and government guidance contained in the National Planning Policy Framework aimed at protecting valued landscapes and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The use of the premises hereby permitted shall be restricted to the hours of 0730 - 1830 hours Monday to Friday; 0800 - 1330 hours Saturday; and no work shall be undertaken on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Reason: In the interests of the amenities of the occupants of nearby properties and in accordance with Policies G2 and EP2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
