Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Condition 6 of planning permission P95/S0561 shall be varied as follows:
"The engine test facility can be used for the testing of car and lorry engines without any restriction upon hours of operation, however, the testing of marine engines or similar large engines shall not occur at weekends between the hours of 1pm on Saturdays and 7am on Mondays, nor on public holidays."
Reason: To ensure that the development is not unneighbourly, in accordance with Policies G2, EP2 and E5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
Apart from the variation to Condition 6 hereby approved, the development shall continue to be implemented in accordance with the approved plans and conditions relating to planning permission P95/S0561 and thereafter retained as such.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with
Development Plan policies.
Condition 5 of planning permission P13/S2840/FUL shall be varied as follows:
"A scheme for 14 additional car parking spaces to be provided within the site shall be laid out, surfaced, drained and completed by the end of September 2015. Thereafter the car parking spaces shall be retained unobstructed except for the parking of vehicles associated with the development at all times."
Reason: In the interests of highway safety and to ensure the provision of off street car parking in accordance with Policies G2, D2, E5, T1 and T2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
Apart from the removal of Condition 5 hereby approved, the development shall continue to be implemented in accordance with the approved plans and conditions relating to planning permission P13/S2840/FUL and thereafter retained as such.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with
Development Plan policies.
