Description
Rebuilding of 4 No bath stone chimneys due to structural defects retaining existing stones where possible and replacing others on a like for like basis.
Rebuilding of the central section of the retaining wall to the south of the main building due to structural defects. The core of the wall will be rebuilt with a reinforced concrete blockwork infil with open perps to aid ventilation.
Refurbishment of the crital windows replacing glazing putties which have deteriorated due to their age. Glass panes where broken will be replaced with a modern equivalent to match the existing movement within the glass believed to have been formed by the crown sheet process.
Replacement of flat roof coverings to the 'German Corridor' on a like for like basis to current standards of thermal performance and within height of existing parapet walls.

The works hereby permitted shall be begun not later than three years from the date of this consent.
Reason: To comply with the provisions of section 18(1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That the works hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the supporting documents and following approved plans, OP1 001, 150STN00-02 and 150STN00-01, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this consent.
