That the proposed residential development would result in the loss of existing employment land in employment use. It has not been demonstrated that the existing use is no longer economically viable or that there is no demand for the commercial premises. The development is therefore contrary to saved Policy E6 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and to the Policies of the National Planning Policy Framework 2012.
That insufficent information has been submitted to demonstrate that the land is not contaminated and is therefore suitable for the proposed residential use contrary to saved Policy EP8 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and to the Policies of the National Planning Policy Framework 2012.
