Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development hereby approved shall commence within 12 months of the date of the permission and that at the expiration of three years from the date of commencement, the use of the land for a vehicle hire business shall cease unless a fresh application shall have been submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority. The applicant shall notify the Council of the date of commencement.
Reason: Because a temporary planning permission is only granted in the specific circumstances pending the redevelopment of the site in accordance with Policy CSDID1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2027.
That the development hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, BLO-001, SS-001, LOC-001, SP-001, Fascia signs OP-001 and Washbay CMP-001, except as controlled or modified by conditions of this permission.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with Development Plan policies.
The wash-bay hereby approved shall only be used between 09:00-18:00 on any given day.
Reason: To safeguard the amenity of neighbouring residents in accordance with Policies G2 and EP2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
Prior to the first occupation of the development hereby approved, the parking and turning areas shall be provided in accordance with the approved plan 'As Proposed' and shall be constructed, laid out, surfaced, drained and completed, and shall be retained unobstructed except for the parking of vehicles associated with the development at all times.
Reason: In the interests of highway safety and in accordance with Policies T1 and T2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
