Refusal of Planning Permission on 14th March 2014
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Having regard to the design and form of the proposed extensions, the proposal would result in incongruous and intrusive additions, which would detract from the character and appearance of the existing dwelling, the streetscene and the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposal would be contrary to policies G2, D1, and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, policies CSQ3 and CSEN1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy, the advice in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2008 and Government guidance in the National Planning Policy Framework.
