Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 14th August 2013
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its cramped nature and layout, the proposed scheme would fail to provide adequate standards of amenity space and environment for the occupants of the proposed dwellings. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy D3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and to guidance on minimum amenity requirements as outlined in Section 3.2 of the South Oxfordshire Design guide.
That the proposal makes inadequate provision for off street car parking in accordance with the Council's standards and so would result in a detrimental impact on highway safety. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy T2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
