Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, ICS/0323/1 and ICS/0323/2.
Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with Development Plan policies.
That prior to the installation of the temporary bridge each year the site shall be checked by a suitably experienced field ecologist to ensure that no protected species or breeding birds will be harmed or disturbed by these works.
Reason: To ensure the development does not result in harm or disturbance to a specially protected species in accordance with policy C8 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
If and when the land is no longer required for temporary use in connection with the Reading Festival the screw piles shall be removed from the land; and the land reinstated to the condition that it was in before the development took place.
Reason: To protect the countryside and the distinctive landscape character of the River Thames and its valley from the accumulation of redundant development in accordance with policies G2, G4 and C3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011; and policy CSEN1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy.
