Refusal of Planning Permission on 18th June 2013
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The poles have an adverse effect on the character and appearance of the site and the surrounding countryside. They are discordant elements in an otherwise pristine and unspoilt rural landscape. As such they are contrary to policies G2, G4 and C3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011; policy CSEN1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy; and government guidance contained in the National Planning Policy Framework relating to the protection of valued landscapes.
