Refusal of Planning Permission on 8th May 2013
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Having regard to the position of the proposed carport, the proposal would result in a prominent and intrusive feature in the streetscene and would detract from the character of this part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposal would be contrary to policies G2, D1 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, policies CSQ3 and CSEN1 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy 2027, the advice in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2008 and Government guidance set out in the National Planning Policy Framework.
