Description
Retention of the following works: Removal a modern rectangular window on the first floor of the buildings North Eastern gable, likely to have been inserted c.1950 onwards. Repairing and making good the opening. Restoring the tiled roof on Northern single storey extension by removing broken and modern concrete tiles where necessary and replacing with clay tiles. Removal of cement pointing from the clunch stone wall of the single storey Northern extension that runs parallel to the edge of the North Eastern boundary abutting the High Street. Re-pointing with a coarse lime putty mortar and reinstating guttering on this section of the property. Consolidating and rebuilding the central structurally unstable brick chimney stack on thatched roof (work not carried out by Lime & Listed).

That the works hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, LOC-001 and BLO-001a, and in accordance with the details specified within the Design and Access Statement, Material Specification and Design and Access Statement Appendix (Images), except as controlled or modified by conditions of this consent. Reason: To secure the proper planning of the historic environment in accordance with Development Plan policies.

All new works and works of making good to the retained internal and external fabric of the building shall be finished to match the adjacent work with regard to the methods used and to material, colour, texture and profile. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building in accordance with Policy CSEN3 of the South Oxfordshire Core Strategy and Policy CON 3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
