Refusal of Listed Building Consent on 11th October 2012
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the design of the proposed porch and conservatory extensions are inappropriate and unsympathetic to the character of the listed building and would detract from the special interest and historical qualities of the listed building contrary to Policies CON2 and CON3 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and to the principles of the National Planning Policy Framework.

That no justification has been submitted for the removal of the historic windows and it is considered that their removal and replacement with double glazed units would fail to preserve the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building contrary to Policy CON3 of the Local Plan and to the principles of the National Planning Policy Framework.
