Decision
Telecommunications Development - Approval Refused on 9th March 2012
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
Under the provisions of Part 24 of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (as amended), the prior approval of the siting and appearance of this DSLAM cabinet is required and such prior approval is refused for reasons of detracting from a new building designed to compliment the conservation area through use of traditional materials and brickwork. The new DSLAM cabinet would stand between the front doors on the principal elevation, highly visible within the street scene, which would fail to preserve the character and appearance of this part of the Thame Conservation Area.
