That, having regard to the narrow width of the site, the position of the garage directly in front of the dwelling and beyond the established building line of nearby properties, the proposed garage will detract from the appearance of the dwelling and significantly diminish its contribution to the street scene. It will appear cramped and visually intrusive to the detriment of the character and appearance of the area contrary to policies G2, G6, D1 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and Section 03 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2008.
