Description
Construction & installation of a facility to undertake the loading of bulk hydrogen road trailers at the Air Products ASU Plant at Harrier Park, Didcot. The facility will compromise of reinforced concrete hard standing area for the parking of a road tube trailer and mobile liquid hydrogen road tanker. The hard standing will have rear & central concrete block walls and will be an open plan design. Control equipment for the facility will be housed in a prefabricated GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer) building. The dimensions of this building are 3 metres wide x 9 metres long x 3 metres high with sloping roof. The building will be located approx 20 metres East from the road trailer/tanker area, installed on a new reinforced concrete base. the building can be considered unoccupied. Facility operation requires a supply of various cylinder stored gases. These will be located on a purpose built reinforced concrete hard standing with a rear concrete block wall. The plant is on land owned by Air Products.

The development to which this permission relates must be begun not later than the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this permission. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

That the development hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the details shown on the following approved plans, E9485-10B, DOC0000500587, DOC0000500588, DOC0000500589 except as controlled or modified by conditions of this permission. Reason: To secure the proper planning of the area in accordance with Development Plan policies.

The development hereby permitted shall not commence until surface water drainage works have been carried out in accordance with details submitted that have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To prevent pollution and flooding in accordance with Policies EP1, EP4 and EP6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
