Cut away rotted feet of both cruck posts at left gable end, insert stone or brick padstone support under cut soffits of sound timber with slate driving wedges to also act as damp proof course, apply lime render over existing brick panel and repaired cruck, also to front elevation between quoin and stack, fisnish with lime wash.Internally, insert a timber post and cast metal bracket to support strained joint between principal beam and floor beam; coachbolts to be used, the repair to be reversible.(As amplified by additional information submitted in email dated 30.08.11).
