Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 27th May 2011
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the site's location within the Oxford green belt, the proposed development represents inappropriate development which would be harmful to the openness of the green belt. No very special circumstances have been presented with the planning application to outweigh the harm by reason of inappropriateness. As such the development is contrary to policy GB2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and advice set out in PPG2.

That, in view of the size and scale of the proposed 3 prefabricated sheds in relation to size of the site, the proposal would result in a cramped form of development which would detract from the visual amenity of the area contrary to policy GB 4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
