The retention of Hunter's Moon as an outbuilding would not be in keeping with the site due to its design and siting. The siting of the building and the additional built development within the plot does not preserve or enhance the local distinctiveness of the area which is situated in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The proposed development is therefore contrary to policies G6, H13 and C2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 (SOLP). In addition, to permit such a large outbuilding would not support the replacement dwellings policy H12, upon which condition 4 was originally based.
