Furthermore the proposed materials are not traditional or appropriate within a Conservation Area. As a result the signage would detract from the visual amenity and the character and appearance of the surrounding street scene contrary to Policies G2, AD1 and CON8 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and guidance contained within PPG19.
