That, having particular regard to their prominent position on the dwelling, the proposal to re-roof the dormer windows would increase their size, bulk and scale to an extent they would be an overly dominant feature.  As such, the proposed works would detract from the character of the building, and in the case of the dormer window to the front of the property, from the character of the area, contrary to the provisions of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, in particular Policies G2, G6, D1 and H13.
