Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 8th April 2011
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The proposed garage would, due to its proposed size, design and location, result in a cramped appearance and would have a detrimental impact upon the character and appearance of the surrounding street scene contrary to Policies G2, G6, H13 and D1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

The proposed garage would not be large enough to accommodate a vehicle in and would reduce the ability to provide a turning head resulting in vehicles having to reverse over the shared access road to the detriment of highway and pedestrian safety. As such the proposal is contrary to Policy T1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
