Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 15th February 2011
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its prominent location and the irregular shape of the plot, the proposed new dwelling at 20 Abrahams Road would represent a visually prominent and cramped form of development which would be out of keeping with the character and appearance of the surrounding area. This is contrary to Policies H4, G2, G6, and D1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
The proposed development would not provide adequate parking provision for either No.20 or the proposed new dwelling, which would exacerbate on-street parking to the detriment of highway safety and convenience. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policies D4, H4 and T2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
