That the enlargement of the opening in the rear wall of the building and the relocation of the first floor window serving the landing would result in an unacceptable loss of historic fabric that would fail to respect the special historic interest and architectural quality of the building that makes it worthy of inclusion on the statutory list. The enlarged opening would also unduly compromise the historic plan form of the building. As such, it is contrary to the provisions of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, in particular Policy CON3, and advice contained in PPS5.
