Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 20th September 2010
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The replacement UPVC double glazed windows, by way of their inappropriate materials and design details, are unacceptable and out of keeping with the remainder of the building and have a significantly harmful effect on the Henley Main Conservation Area. The windows fail to enhance or preserve the traditional character and appearance of the conservation area. Therefore the application does not comply with Policies G2, G6 and CON7 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and with national guidance within PPS5.
