Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The works to provide new bathrooms at first floor level within Bedroom 2 would have a significant and harmful impact upon both the cellular character of the room and the Georgian plan form.  In addition the works to form the bathrooms, including the intertion of the new soilstack, and the rearrangement of the ground floor utility and wc would result in the loss of historic fabric.  As such the proposed works are contrary to Policy CON3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and PPS5.
