Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 4th May 2010
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its size, height and excessive depth, the proposed rear extension would dominate the original proportions of No.43a St Andrew's Road, materially harming its character and appearance. It would also restrict an unacceptable amount of light from rear windows of Nos. 41b and 43b St Andrew's Road, and have an unduly overbearing impact on the rear gardens of these neighbouring properties, to the detriment of the amenity of their occupants. As such, the proposal is contrary to the requirements of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, in particular Policies G2, G6, D1, D4 and H13 and advice contained in the South Oxfordshire Design Guide.
