Planning Application Details

The works hereby permitted shall be begun not later than three years from the date of this consent. Reason: To comply with the provisions of section 18(1) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

All new works and works of making good to the retained internal and external fabric of the building shall be finished to match the adjacent work with regard to the methods used and to material, colour, texture and profile. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building and in accordance with Policy CON 3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

Prior to commencement of works, samples of materials in respect of the following shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority and thereafter implemented as approved: a. bricks b. roof coverings Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building and in accordance with Policy CON 3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

Prior to commencement of works, details of proposed new windows and doors at 1:5 and 1:20, together with details of finishes and fire safety upgrading shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority and thereafter implemented and retained as approved. A full repair schedule with good photographic coverage of all features proposed for repair/alterationshall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the relevant part of the work has begun and thereafter implemented as approved. Prior to commencement of works, details of lime mortar/plaster specifications shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority and thereafter implemented as approved. Any new rooflights should be of 'conservation' type with a central bar and sitting flush with the roof surface. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural or historic interest of the listed building and in accordance with Policy CON 3 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

Sample panels of facing brickwork showing the proposed repointing shall be provided on site and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the relevant parts of the work are commenced. The sample panels shall be retained on site until the work is completed and the new work shall be carried out in accordance with the approved panel and thereafter retained as such.
