Conditions / Refusal Reasons
The prominently positioned fence and gates have a harsh urban appearance and harm the attractive rural setting of the grade II listed building contrary to Policy CON5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

The metal palisade fence and gates, by virtue of their prominent siting, design, form and materials, harms the openness and visual amenity of the Green Belt and is therefore inappropriate development, contrary to advice contained in PPG2 and to Policy GB4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

The metal palisade fence and gates, by virtue of their prominent siting, design, form and materials, harms the countryside and the rural character of the local landscape contrary to Policies G4 and D1 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
