The retention of the mobile home, which represents an additional housing unit at this unsustainable, rural location, is unacceptable in terms of current housing policy. The circumstances that have been presented are not considered exceptional and do not warrant the further retention of the mobile home for a temporary period. The development is contrary to policies G1, H6 and H15 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

The special circumstances that led to the provision of this mobile home no longer apply and the retention of the mobile home would be detrimental to the rural character of the area and is inappropriate in this isolated rural location within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is contrary to policies G2, G4, G6, and C2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
