Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the rated noise level from the pump unit shall not exceed the background level by more than 5dB(A) between 7.00am and 11.00pm and shall not exceed the background at any other time. The noise levels shall be determined at the boundary of the premises and the measurement and rating of the plant shall be made in accordance with the latest British Standard 4142, 'Method for rating industrial noise affecting mixed residential and industrial areas'. Reason: To safeguard the amenities of nearby residents from loss of amenity due to noise disturbance and in accordance with Policy EP2 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

That details of the drainage of backwash and when emptying the pool shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority within 3 months of the date of this permission. Reason: To ensure that the system of drainage effectively mitigates any adverse effects which would be harmful to the environment in accordance with Policy EP6 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and in accordance with PPG25.

No materials shall be deposited or stored on the site and no raising of land levels shall take place on the site. Reason: To prevent increased risk of flooding due to impdeance of flood flows and reduction of flood storage capacity in accordance with PPG25.
