That all new works and works of making good to the retained fabric of the walls shall be finished to match the adjacent work with regard to the methods used and to material, colour, texture and profile. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building and appearance of the conservation area in accordance with Policies CON3, CON7 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011. That detailed information or drawings in respect of the following shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the relevant part of the work has begun: a. Joinery details of new timber gates to archway at 1:20. b. Stonework details of all new stone carving at 1:10. c. Specification for lime mortar. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building and appearance of the conservation area in accordance with Policies CON3, CON7 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

That samples of new stone to be used for the wall and piers shall be provided on site and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority before the relevant part of the work has begun. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building and appearance of the conservation area in accordance with Policies CON3, CON7 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

That the gates to the clair-voie be constructed of iron and to the design shown on drawing 1063/14 REV. B unless any changes to the design are first submitted to, and approved in writing by, the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building and appearance of the conservation area in accordance with Policies CON3, CON7 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
