That having regard to its highly prominent position the summerhouse results in an incongruous and overly large feature within the street scene, which has a significant adverse impact on the character and appearance of the property, its site and the surrounding area.  As such, the summerhouse does not comply with policies G2, G6, D1 and H13 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 and advice contained in section 6.2.2 of the South Oxfordshire Design Guide 2008.
