Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to the position of the proposed extension relative to existing openings and the use of unsympathetic materials, the proposal would represent an inappropriate addition that would result in the loss of historic fabric and would detract from the special historic and architectural interest of the listed building. As such, the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, particularly policies CON2 and CON3 and national guidance in PPG15.

That, having regard to the details of the development, including the changes to the fenestration, the addition of new openings and the infilling of existing openings, the proposal would result in the loss of historic fabric and would detract from the special historic and architectural interest of the listed building. As such, the proposal would be contrary to the provisions of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, particularly policies CON2 and CON3 and national guidance in PPG15.
