Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 6th November 2009
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its prominent location, the proposed stable block, and the associated change of use of the land and new access drive, would result in a visually intrusive form of development that would detract from the rural character and appearance of the site and surrounding area, which is part of an open and unspoilt landscape within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, the proposal is contrary to policies G2, G4, G6, C1, C2, D1 and R10 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan and advice contained in PPS7.
