Refusal of Listed Building Consent on 7th February 2008
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That having regard to the simple, cellular form of the listed building, the proposal to subdivide the building into 4 flats and the introduction of rooflights to the thatch and workshop roofs, would be detrimental to the special architectural qualities and character and historic fabric of the grade II listed building contrary to Policies CON2, CON3 and CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and advice in PPG15.

That the provision of a new staircase in Unit 4 would involve the removal of historic fabric of the listed building which would diminish the special historical qualities of the listed building contrary to Policies CON3 and CON4 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan and advice within PPG15.
