Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse. Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as a mended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

That the use of the building which is the subject of this permission shall be terminated by 31 December 2022 and the building shall be removed from the land which shall be left in a clean and orderly state. Reason: To protect the open nature, rural character and visual amenity of the Green Belt in accordance with policies GB2, GB3 and GB4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011; and to ensure that the future development of the Culham Science Centre site takes place in accordance with policies RUR3, RUR4 and RUR5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.

That the building shall be solely used by the UKAEA and its partners or by an organisation of which the UKAEA and these partners are members for the incidental storage of equipment used for atomic energy research and development in connection with the JET Facility up until 31 December 2022. Reason: To protect the open nature, rural character and visual amenity of the Green Belt in accordance with policies GB2, GB3 and GB4 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011; and to ensure that the future development of the Culham Science Centre site takes place in accordance with policies RUR3, RUR4 and RUR5 of the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011.
