Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That the development must be begun not later than the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this permission and if this condition is not complied with this permission shall lapse.
Reason: By virtue of Sections 91 to 95 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
That if within 10 years of the substantial completion of the building, the use of the building for agricultural purposes permanently ceases and, within a further 3 years, planning permission has not been granted for an alternative use, and there is no outstanding appeal, the building shall be demolished, the materials shall be removed from the land and the land restored to its former condition before development took place, or to such a condition as shall otherwise have been agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority.
Reason: To safeguard the character of the area in accordance with Policy G2 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That the flood relief pipework detailed in the Agent's letter dated 29 May 2007 shall be incorporated into the construction of the barn and retained as such.
Reason: To mitigate the loss of flood storage in accordance with Policy EP5 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
That a scheme for the means of disposal/draining effluent from the building shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development.
Reason: In the interests of public health in accordance with Policy EP7 of the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan.
