Decision
Refusal of Planning Permission on 20th June 2007
Conditions / Refusal Reasons
That, having regard to its size, height and location on the frontage of the site, the proposed garage would appear prominent and out of keeping with its surroundings. As such, the proposal would constitute an undesirable visual intrusion in the street scene which would fail to reinforce local distinctiveness and would be detrimental to the visual amenity of the locality contrary to the adopted South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011, particularly Policies G6 and H13, and to the adopted South Oxfordshire Design Guide, particularly Section 4.3.
